  • Permit Holders Requests:
    • Request for additional funding or secondary contracting
    • Need driven by whale entanglement prevention and sustainability
  • Whale Entanglement Update:
    • ODFW letter: whale entanglement level requires public statement
    • All 2025 cases involved old gear, stressing timely removal

    • Secure additional resources or partnerships
