Important Update: Assessment Rate Reduced to 0.75% (Effective Dec 1, 2025)

Dear Oregon Dungeness Crab Industry Stakeholder,

We are writing to inform you of an important change to the Oregon Dungeness Crab Commission assessment rate.
Beginning with the upcoming crab season, which may open as soon as December 1, 2025, the Commission’s
statutory assessment rate will decrease from 1% to 0.75%.

This adjustment reflects our ongoing commitment to supporting the industry while remaining responsive to current
market conditions and operational needs.

Please update all accounting and remittance processes to reflect the new 0.75% assessment rate for all landings
and commercial transactions occurring on or after December 1, 2025.
